Great Places to Stay and Some Not So Great
When we travel with our grands, I usually go online several months in advance to find hotels. We have several prerequisites—indoor pool, outdoor pool when going in warm weather, free breakfast, kid-friendly, free parking, close to our venue (gymnastics meets, etc.), and reasonable, under $150 per night.
For the most part, we have stayed at some very, very nice hotels and I will review those soon.
But have you ever been surprised? Sometimes you have no idea from the pictures, right? And being unfamiliar with the city or the part of town, you can't really know if this is a kid-friendly place or not!
We have one place in particular, in Atlanta, where we were met with several surprises! Had we not been very careful, our children would have gotten quite an education!

😞😞 Disappointing. Cannot recommend. We will not return.
😟 Pictures are deceiving!! Definitely avoid.
